Basketball Recap: Freedom Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Hillsborough came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Freedom, but Peter Radigan wouldn't allow it. The Freedom Patriots blew past the Hillsborough Terriers, posting a 71-37 victory thanks in part to Radigan, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 22 boards. Those 22 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Several Terriers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Julian Loder, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malex Santana, who had four points and six rebounds.

Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Hillsborough, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Freedom wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-45 win against Brandon on the 11th. As for Hillsborough, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-40 victory against Robinson on the 11th.
