Soccer Recap: Walsingham Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Walsingham Academy was not quite Steward's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. Walsingham Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Steward apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Walsingham Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Steward, they pushed their record up to 9-7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Walsingham Academy will challenge Hampton Roads Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Steward, they will take on Norfolk Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Steward will need to watch out since Norfolk Collegiate have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
