Softball Recap: Hamilton Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Hamilton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lakota East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Big Blue were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Thunderhawks on Wednesday. Considering the Big Blue have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Hamilton, bringing their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lakota East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-3.

Coincidentally, Hamilton and Lakota East will both be playing Oak Hills the next time they take the field. The Thunderhawks will host the Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Big Blue will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
