Baseball Recap: Bucktail Comes Up Short

Bucktail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Montgomery Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 last Tuesday.

Bucktail saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keller Friese, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bucktail's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Montgomery, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

As of now, neither Bucktail nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
