Lampasas's and Connally's matchup on Saturday was close at halftime, but Lampasas turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. The Lampasas Badgers never let the Connally Cadets onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Badgers.

Juan Rodriguez and Chris Mendoza scored all three of Lampasas' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Lampasas' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Connally, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Meyer the next time they take the pitch. Lampasas will head out to face Meyer at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Connally will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
