Volleyball Recap: Horizon Falls Short Against Ranked Liberty

Horizon faced Liberty in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Sunday. The Huskies fell 2-0 to the Lions. The Huskies have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Nia Tinsley paced Horizon's offense, picking up nine kills. Tinsley got some help from Brooklynn McNulty and her 13 assists.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Horizon has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Canyon View on the 12th. As for Liberty, they will face off against Pinnacle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
