Recap: Harrisburg Hornets vs. Augusta Red Devils
This season hasn't been kind to the Harrisburg Hornets, who are still winless after their fifth game. They took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Augusta on Friday. Harrisburg lost against Augusta in their previous head to head back in January of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 82-70 score last time.
Despite the loss, Harrisburg saw an underclassman step up: Jakobe Tate scored 14 points. Max Tracy was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Augusta, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will take on Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Osceola is ranked 205th, while Harrisburg is ranked 187th). As for Augusta, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Barton at 7:00 p.m. Barton is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
