Basketball Game Preview: Pecos Eagles vs. Seminole Indians

Pecos is 0-10 against Seminole since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Pecos Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Seminole Indians at 7:30 p.m.

Pecos is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 68-21 loss at the hands of Greenwood. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1497th, while the Rangers are ranked 732nd).

Meanwhile, Seminole entered their tilt with Monahans on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Loboes 66-32. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Seminole pushed their record up to 19-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.2 points. As for Pecos, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Pecos was taken down by Seminole 75-24 when the teams last played back in January. Can Pecos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
