Football Game Preview: Lansdowne Vikings vs. Northeast Eagles

The Lansdowne Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Northeast Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lansdowne will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Lansdowne will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 12 points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Western Tech & Environmental Science on Friday. The Vikings snuck past the Wolverines with a 32-28 win. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Daion Wheeler was his usual excellent self, picking up 129 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Northeast was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 12-6 to Williamsport.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lansdowne, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
