Basketball Recap: Burlingame Piles Up the Points Against Wilcox

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burlingame). They claimed a resounding 68-41 victory over the Wilcox Chargers. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Burlingame was led to victory by Jean-Luc Uharriet and Dylan Black. Uharriet posted 11 points, while Black had ten points. Another player making a difference was Rowan Maher, who earned six points and six rebounds.

Burlingame smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Burlingame's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Wilcox, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Burlingame will be taking part in a tournament against Hillsdale at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilcox, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
