Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Takes a Loss

Grace Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Oaks The Mighty Oaks, falling 33-12. The contest was a close 9-7 at the break, but unfortunately for the Crusader it sure didn't stay that way.

Thad Shuler was Grace Christian's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Oaks, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Grace Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-32 defeat against Byne Christian on the 14th. Oaks has also already played their next game, a 44-37 loss against Trinity Christian on the 13th.
