After losing to Dansville the last time they met, Haverling decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. Given Haverling's advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Dansville are ranked 452nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Haverling is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Dansville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13-1.

Coming up, Haverling will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Geneseo at 6:30 p.m. As for Dansville, they will head out on the road to challenge Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
