Basketball Recap: JAYDEN RAYA Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat South

Liberty won the last time they faced South and things went their way on Saturday too. The Liberty Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 59-56 victory over the South Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted since January 16th.

Liberty's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JAYDEN RAYA led the charge by putting up ten points. The dominant performance gave RAYA a new career-high in points. BRYCE HANSON was another key player, going 6 for 11 en route to 15 points.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 8-18. As for South, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.
