Lincoln County won the last time they faced Franklin County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 16-4 win. Considering the Falcons have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lincoln County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin County, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will host Columbia Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Falcons 3.7, the Lions 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
