Valor Christian and Rock Canyon squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Valor Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Valor Christian lost, don't look at Harper Scott. Despite the final result, she had 37 digs and three assists. Scott has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Valor Christian's loss dropped their record down to 23-3. As for Rock Canyon, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-3.
