Basketball Game Preview: Western Indians vs. Glenwood Tigers

The Western Indians will take on the Glenwood Tigers in a tournament on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Western is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since January 3rd on Saturday. They fell just short of Symmes Valley by a score of 61-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Glenwood fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 57-49 victory over East on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly eight points.

Glenwood's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Western, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Western strolled past Glenwood in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 45-31. Does Western have another victory up their sleeve, or will Glenwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
