Basketball Game Preview: Terrebonne Tigers vs. Bourgeois Braves

The Terrebonne Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Bourgeois Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Terrebonne is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Terrebonne took on East St. John on Tuesday. Terrebonne snuck past East St. John with a 52-48 win. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Bourgeois entered their tilt with Thibodaux on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted against the Tigers since January 24, 2020.

Terrebonne's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for Bourgeois, their victory bumped their record up to 28-18.

Terrebonne came up short against Bourgeois when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 73-67. Can Terrebonne avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
