Basketball Recap: Naches Valley Takes a Loss

Naches Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a hard 68-53 fall against the Wapato Wolves. If the Rangers were looking for revenge after losing 74-59 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Naches Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wapato, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Naches Valley will face off against College Place at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wapato, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Zillah at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Zillah knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Wapato likes a good challenge.
