Basketball Recap: Bells Triumphs

Bells hadn't beaten Pottsboro on the road since February 5, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Panthers snuck past the Cardinals with a 42-36 win. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 58-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bells pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pottsboro, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bells will take on rival Gunter at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pottsboro is set to square off against their familiar foe Blue Ridge at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
