There's no place like home for Wesson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Warren Central Vikings on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 two weeks ago.
Maddie Sanders was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
