Basketball Recap: Blue Hill Piles Up the Points Against Giltner

Blue Hill won the last time they faced Giltner and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Hill Bobcats blew past the Giltner Hornets 68-33.

Giltner's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blaydon White, who posted ten points. What's more, White also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in January of 2024. Tanner Schelkopf also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Blue Hill's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Giltner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Looking ahead, Blue Hill will take on Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Hill is facing Pleasanton at the right time seeing as Pleasanton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Giltner, they will head out to take on Deshler at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
