Lake Oconee Academy had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mary Persons Bulldogs.

Mackenzie King paced Lake Oconee Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. King got some help from Emma Dimascio and her 17 assists. Dimascio was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Lake Oconee Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Mary Persons, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Coming up, Lake Oconee Academy will square off against Westminster Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mary Persons, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Jones County on the 26th.
