Forestview is a perfect 3-0 against Palisades since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Forestview Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Palisades Pumas at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Forestview is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Huss a 20-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Olivia Hensley made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Forestview got a massive performance out of Miley Skidmore, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Skidmore a new career-high in RBI (three). Kaitlyn Baker was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Forestview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .810. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Palisades was able to grind out a solid win over Ballantyne Ridge on Tuesday, taking the game 10-6.
The team relied heavily on Sanaa Dorsey, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Janiya Johnson, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Forestview's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Palisades, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Palisades' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Forestview has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Palisades, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Forestview keep running through batters, or will Palisades buck the trend?
Forestview took their victory against Palisades in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 10-3. Will Forestview repeat their success, or does Palisades have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
