Volleyball Recap: Holston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Holston came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Chilhowie Warriors, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Holston has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Chilhowie, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Holston will face off against rival Rural Retreat at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chilhowie is set to take on their familiar foe Honaker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
