Calvary Day School's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Thomasville.

Anthony Hill made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Hill was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI.

Hill wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Austin Setliff, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Wyoming Valley West kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Palmyra, falling 9-1.

Calvary Day School's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wyoming Valley West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
