Softball Recap: Paris Drops Season-High Score on Bellevue

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paris). Everything went their way against the Bellevue Tigers on Saturday as they made off with a 21-7 win. Considering the Greyhounds have won 12 games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Paris is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Bellevue, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.

Coming up, Paris will challenge Eminence at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bellevue, they will be playing at home against Robertson County at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Black Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.17 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
