The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for East Kentwood's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Grand Ledge pushed their record up to 9-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for East Kentwood, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-2.
