Soccer Recap: Eno River Academy Takes a Loss

Eno River Academy had taken Woods Charter down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Bobcats fell just short of Wolves by a score of 1-0. Eno River Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Woods Charter apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Eno River Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Woods Charter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eno River Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oxford Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Woods Charter, they will host Central Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
