Softball Recap: Okaw Valley Timberwolves vs. Blue Ridge Knights

Okaw Valley had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-9 to make it six. They lost 10-0 to the Blue Ridge Knights. Having soared to a lofty 24 runs in the game before, the Timberwolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Blue Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
