Basketball Game Preview: Thrall Tigers vs. Lexington Eagles

The Thrall Tigers will challenge the Lexington Eagles at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Thrall has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Thrall will bounce into Friday's match after beating C.H. Yoe, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Thrall strolled past C.H. Yoe with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 40-21. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lexington entered their contest against Franklin on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Lexington took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Lions are ranked 208th).

Thrall's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Lexington, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-5.

Thrall strolled past Lexington in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a score of 55-38. Does Thrall have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lexington turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
