Football Game Preview: Belchertown vs. Ludlow

Belchertown have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Ludlow at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Belchertown faltered in their game last Friday. They suffered a grim 7-28 defeat to Lee last Friday. A silver lining for Belchertown was the play of junior Callaghan Daskim, who rushed for 65 yards and 1 touchdown.

Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Ludlow and Mt. Greylock Regional, but Ludlow stepped up in the second half. Ludlow were able to grind out a solid win over Mt. Greylock Regional, winning 13-0.

Belchertown have to be hurting after a devastating 8-33 defeat at the hands of Ludlow the last time the two teams met. Can Belchertown avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
