Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Churchill County Greenwave. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Dayton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Kennedy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Churchill County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dayton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fernley at 4:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Dust Devils are facing the Vaqueros at the right time seeing as the Vaqueros are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Churchill County, they will welcome Spanish Springs at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
