Baseball Recap: Harpeth Indians vs. Hickman County Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 Harpeth won the last time they faced Hickman County, and things went their way  on Monday too. The Harpeth Indians walked away with  a   6-1  victory over the Hickman County Bulldogs.
  Landen Perry and  Michael Matheson made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound,  Perry   kept things locked down with   no  earned run or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Matheson   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in six consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Perry  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-3, while  Matheson  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Hayden Penrod, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 On Hickman County's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brayden McCaleb, who  went 1-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Harpeth is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record  this season. As for Hickman County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
