Carroll is a perfect 8-0 against Headland since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Carroll Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Headland Rams at 5:30 p.m. Carroll is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Carroll will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Long on Thursday. Carroll's defense stepped up to hand Long a 7-0 shutout. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Carroll hit Long with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Vraj Prajapati (3), Cameron Buchanan (2), and Gavin Recor (2).

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Headland was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 6-1 to Eufaula. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

The victory got Carroll back to even at 2-2. As for Headland, they now have a losing record of 0-1.

Carroll took their win against Headland when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1. In that game, Carroll amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
