Wake Prep Academy won the last time they faced Woods Charter and things went their way on Friday too. The Guardians enjoyed a cozy 61-42 win over the Wolves.

Wake Prep Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kato Muhammad led the charge by putting up ten points. Myles Petersen was another key player, posting ten points.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paul Frazelle, who posted ten points and five boards. Campbell Blackburn also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.

Wake Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Woods Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Wake Prep Academy and Woods Charter will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Guardians see the court they'll take on Freedom Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Woods Charter, their break will end when they face The Hawbridge School at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
