Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lillian Hays and Alainah Salas Lead Scottsbluff to Victory

Scottsbluff won the last time they faced Chadron and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bearcats blew past the Cardinals 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Scottsbluff was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Scottsbluff was led to victory by Alainah Salas and Lillian Hays. Salas had 28 digs and three aces, while Hays had nine digs and two blocks. What's more, Hays racked up 38 assists, the most she's had over her last nine contests. Heidi Groskopf was another key player, getting ten digs.

Scottsbluff's win bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Chadron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.
