Austin Conley gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2025 on Wednesday. Nobody could stop him as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Fishers is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 5-12 otherwise.

Conley's strong effort led Fishers over Avon and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are 8-2 against the Orioles going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
