Basketball Recap: Montgomery Central Indians vs. Sycamore War Eagles
Montgomery Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 49-38 to the Sycamore War Eagles. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 59-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Sycamore found their leader in sophomore Carter Wallace, who went 8 of 10 en route to 21 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wallace has scored all season. Lucas Morris was another key player, putting up ten points.
Montgomery Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Sycamore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Montgomery Central will venture away from home to square off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sycamore, they will challenge Creek Wood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
