Preview: Reynoldsburg vs. Westerville South
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Reynoldsburg. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Westerville South at 7:00 PM. Westerville South will need to watch out since Reynoldsburg have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Last week, Reynoldsburg put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Central Crossing to the tune of 48-7. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.
Meanwhile, Westerville South were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their matchup against Upper Arlington. Westerville South took a 29-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Upper Arlington. The contest was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but Westerville South were outplayed the rest of the way.
Reynoldsburg's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Westerville South's loss dropped them down to 2-2. We'll see if Reynoldsburg's success rolls on or if Westerville South are able to steal their positive momentum.
