Volleyball Recap: South Garner Comes Up Short

South Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Enloe Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

South Garner was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Enloe work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 27-25.

South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Enloe, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

South Garner and Enloe will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Titans will take on rival Smithfield-Selma at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Enloe is set to face off against their familiar foe Athens Drive at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
