After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hopewell, Mallard Creek was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the North Mecklenburg Vikings a 13-0 shutout. With that win, the Mavericks brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
