Baseball Recap: Mustang Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Mustang's offense. They came up short against the Piedmont Wildcats on Thursday, falling 8-0. The Broncos just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Mustang's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Piedmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Mustang wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Deer Creek on the 18th. As for Piedmont, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-2 defeat against Bixby on the 18th.
