Volleyball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Concord was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mt. Diablo on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears came up short against the Alhambra Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Alhambra, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Concord will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ygnacio Valley at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Bears are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Alhambra, they will challenge Benicia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
