If Hillsborough wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Freedom, they should've done a better job of containing Averi Addison. The Patriots put the hurt on the Terriers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Addison, who had 18 digs and ten assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 17 games she's played dating back to last season.

Freedom's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hillsborough to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-7.

Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Hillsborough, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Freedom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wharton on the 29th. Hillsborough has also already played their next match (against Lennard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
