Softball Game Preview: Frankston Indians vs. Mildred Eagles

The Frankston Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Mildred Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frankston's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Mildred's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Frankston is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Brownsboro just ended the team's 20-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 10-6 to the Bears.

Meanwhile, Mildred came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bobcats 16-1. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly 15 runs.

Mildred's win bumped their record up to 15-9-2. As for Frankston, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-4-1.

Everything went Frankston's way against Mildred in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Frankston made off with a 12-6 victory. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
