Softball Recap: Montague Takes a Loss

Montague lost against Oakridge back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 16-4 to the Eagles. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Montague saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Montague's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Oakridge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

While Montague had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
