Valley is 10-0 against Pinon since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Valley Pirates will square off against the Pinon Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Valley is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Johns just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a hard 54-39 fall against the Redskins.

Meanwhile, Pinon took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 52-4 win over Greyhills Academy. That looming 52-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Pinon's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Pinon when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 45-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
