Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph-Ogden Comes Up Short

St. Joseph-Ogden lost against Newark back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Norsemen.

St. Joseph-Ogden has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Newark, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph-Ogden will challenge St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newark, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Rock Island on the 18th.
