Volleyball Recap: Clearbrook-Gonvick Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Clearbrook-Gonvick came up short against Lake of the Woods, falling 3-0. Clearbrook-Gonvick has struggled against Lake of the Woods recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-4.

Sophie Block had an outrageously good game for Lake of the Woods as she had 19 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Block has posted since back in September.

Clearbrook-Gonvick's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Lake of the Woods, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Clearbrook-Gonvick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Laporte on the 9th. As for Lake of the Woods, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Roseau on the 9th.
