Recap: Hammond Central Wolves vs. Yorkville Foxes
The Hammond Central Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 59-46 to Yorkville.
Hammond Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kennedy Blakely, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Aniyah Henry, who scored 16 points.
Hammond Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Yorkville, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
Hammond Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lake Station Edison at 1:30 p.m. on January 6th. Yorkville and Joliet West will face off at 1:30 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
